About Silversands Ethanol

Silversands Ethanol is a dynamic company seeking to establish ethanol gel fuel as a reliable and safe alternative to the fossil fuels which have been a main energy source up until now.

The company is situated in the rural heartland of the North West Province and is surrounded by rolling fields of corn and sunflower.

The company has already successfully created employment for 31 previously unemployed Tswana people who live in the immediate vicinity of the farms.

Ethanol is produced from locally grown grain sorghum and is then blended into a gel. The project has been producing ethanol gel safety stoves since May 2005 and the enthusiastic response has been overwhelming!

It is easy to be enthusiastic about our products as they are fuelled by a top performing, quality gel fuel.
